But don't think too long about the problem. It is not so important. The print-question is much more important to me.

copy the whole XBM folder from "Programme" to your desktop.
Now launch XBM from here and let me know if will save the configuration.
What windows do you have?

Please be sure to opne XBM with "Administrator" rights... I suspect that XBM cannot save the configuration when you close it.
Where exactly XBM is installed?
