When I try to run XMM 5.0 A4, it says:

Also I can't run XMM 4.8, it freezes and it says "Database not recognized"...

No, I can't use that, it says that it has attempted to read the protected memory, I have sended you a mail with logs and memory dump.

I have the same configuration, AMD 64 but Windows XP 32 bit, and all works OK.

Please let me know.

I have a Windows XP SP2 32 bits on an AMD 64 bits, I will try the Alpha 5...
