I have downloaded the newest version 5.1 beta 3. When i start xmm comes the error messages:

1) The database is not compatible.
2) 91Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.

If i want to create a new database i get the following error messages after i created it:

1) The database is not compatible
2) An error has occured (Probably the database is opened by another application), please restart XMM. If this error presist, please contact BinaryWorks by email and send the Error ID: C3
3) An error has occured (Probably the database is opened by another application), please restart XMM. If this error presist, please contact BinaryWorks by email and send the Error ID: C1

I am using windows xp sp2, .net 2.0 on a Athlon64 pc system.

How can i solve the problem?

best regards
stebra

Hi Damodar,

Please let me know if you have uninstalled and re-installed the MS framework already or not.

If not, please uninstall all previous frameworks (if you have it), like 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0.

Let me know!

I'm too
EMM 5.3.1.0 opens with error "The database is not compatible"

Please help, but I cant Reinstall Win XP sorry

It has something to do with framework version 1.1 and all 1.1 updates.

I tried to install all framework versions again, by first removing them, but that was not possible for some 1.1 parts. I also got problems with other programs, such as Pinnacle Mediacenter, so the only thing left to do was to start all over..

A lot of work, but happy to see that I have a clean system again

Hi!

Sorry for my silence in these days, I haven't answer you because I was making tests, but really i haven't any idea why your previous installation wasn't working.

I am happy that now all is OK.

Thank you,

Alessio

Well.. installed XP from scratch and now its'working..
Guess it's a problem with the previous framework installation...

Just tried everything that was written here in the topics, but no succes.. Still get the Database not compatible, 91 Object error, after that the C3, C1 and Comb1 errors..

I really can't think of anything that could help me. But hopefully someone here must know what to do? I'm desperate and the only option I could think of is stick to 4.8..

Hi,

Please sorry for my late reply!

Please write me what error you receive exactly, I will try to understand where the problem can be.

Thank you!

I have exactly the same problem.

quote:
On my home computers I have other regional settings than the .NET framework language; the .NET is spanish and I had the two computers with galician main language. After I have changed that, XMM ran without problems. Maybe you can investigate about that behavior, at last I have discovered where the bug was

How do I check this?

The other topic seems to deal with x64 processors. I have a 32bit Pentium 4 2.0Ghz and the file you've offered up is for an older version I think.

I had similar problems with an older version but thought I would leave it and see if it got sorted but obviously it is not. Since using the earlier version I have re-installed windows as well.

Mmmm, I really don't know what to say.

Some days ago some people had the same problem, but we solved it by changing Target CPU:

Another problems was this (solved my Nekromant) :

Please take a look , especially at this second one.

Yes, i have installed the FULL release and it is not my first time a have installed the new 5.x version. I tried the beta 2 before and got the same problem. Before the nast installation i had deleted the old version 4.8 and 5.1 beta 2. I also deleted the entry in the registry.
