Posted - 21 May 2006 : 18:14:47 Wouldn't it be nice if, when importing my 4.8 database, it would also import the webID ? And then that the webID would be used for importing from the web ?
I'm sure I've asked this before but sofar i didn't see it working.
As for now I still continue to use the good old 4.8 version. |

Posted - 18 Mar 2007 : 17:08:09 hmm 10 months later i notice the same problem now.. (since the nice old 4.8 version has no updated scripts anymore i had to change now) and i miss the weblinks after the import. even when they dont work properly for importing the data again (which i wont do twice anyway) its great to have them just for clicking on them. so is there a solution already, that i didnt find in the forum? or would it be possible to just import them as they are?
Don't let your mind wander, it's too small to be let out on its own! |

Posted - 22 May 2006 : 18:18:37 Yes, but you miss the "Script" used to import information.
The only way is to manually put, in the Script Used field, the exact filename of the script, but I think it's a boring work.
Anyway, I will try to do something.

Posted - 22 May 2006 : 11:08:29 Hi,
The new 5.x doesn't need the WebID anymore, this is why XMM do not import it.
The old WebLinks of 4.8 are not compatible with new engine, this is why I haven't import it.
Bye!
