Posted - 30 May 2006 : 15:54:41 I posted some minor bugs in my previous topic but got no reply, so I start a new one, as these are more serious (5.2.4).
1. Movie ID renumbering doesn't seem to work. I've deleted some records but the numbers remains the same after renumbering.
2. The Goofs problem persists in the IMDB scrip. If an imported movie has goofs, all's well. If the next one (or A next one) has no Goofs, then Custom Field 10 fills up with the info from the previous film. If more films have no Goofs, then Field 11 in all fills with the same info.

You are right, this is a problem. I will try to find a "workaround".
Thank you,

Posted - 03 Jun 2006 : 13:35:32 Hi Alessio,
The fix was great, but there is a new problem: if we re-import the movies and use "overwrite", then we have to rewrite all the extra info manually placed in the fields. That's why it's important to be able to select which fields to overwrite. I suppose it could be done if you extend the options in "Set default script ==> Script Options". Please check the suggestions forum where I wrote something about it... |

Posted - 03 Jun 2006 : 10:14:12 Hi,
I think that you should import again these movies (use directly the batch import!) but you must configure the Sciprt Engine to replace the old values already present in the fields.

Posted - 02 Jun 2006 : 20:38:28 Due the problem a lot of the movies have an incorrect entry in custom 10 and 11. How can I fix it? Do I have to delete them manually and update from web again?
Thanks |

Posted - 31 May 2006 : 09:54:53 Hi apd,
The renumbering seem to be OK, it's strange.
About goofs, I will make tests...
Thank you!

Posted - 30 May 2006 : 18:29:44 Ok, let's say I have 6 movies to process.
Movie no 1 has no goofs. Field 10 comes empty. Movie no 2 has some goofs. Field 10 fills up properly. Movie no 3 has no goofs. Field 10 fills up with goofs of Movie no 2. Movie no 4 has some goofs. Field 10 fills up properly. Movie no 5 has no goofs. Field 10 fills up with goofs of Movie no 4. Movie no 6 has no goofs. Field 10 fills up with goofs of Movie no 4.
It doesn't seem to matter if I batch import or not. Even if I import the movies one by one, the behaviour is the same.
And what about renumbering? Could you replicate the bug?

Posted - 30 May 2006 : 17:03:35 Hi apd,
Sorry, I haven't answer you because I am working on it.
About goofs, I have make some tests but I haven't find the bug.
Please write me more datails: do you have this problem if you import more that one movie with batch import? or do you have this problem even if you import a movie, then close the bacth import and import another movie again?
Thank you ,
