Posted - 10 Jun 2006 : 20:05:03 Hi, There a two bugs when ordering movies. The first is with catalog numbering. If you order the list by catalog number, it takes in account the first number and not the all number. As as example catalog number 35 appears after 256. The other is with the date, try to add a filter with date of insert and it only looks to the first day making 01.04.2006 apears before 06.04.2005.
Thanks and keep the good work :) |

Posted - 21 Aug 2006 : 12:17:35 You are right, but much people use the Catalog Number with alphanumeric, like CD 1 / DVD 1 etc...
About catalog more than 100, I have in mind to make a function to automatically put zeros in front of numbers, so you will have:
0001 0002
etc...

Posted - 20 Aug 2006 : 16:27:13 Thanks, The trick about the date of insert worked. But thatīs a work around since the format of the date Iīve choose should have worked too. You have it in option window also ;)
About the other bug, I understand thr problem since itīs not numeric, but a field named 'catalog NUMBER' should be numeric :)... What should I Do to the numbers before 100 ? change one by one ? :( |

Posted - 07 Aug 2006 : 16:06:13 Hi,
Sorry for my late reply.
The problem with Catalog Number is that is an Alphanumeric Field, not numeric, this is why XMM order it wrongly (if you do not use zeros, for example 0001 - 0256)
About date of insert, you should configure it in other way, I mean you should set the visualization like yyyy/MM/dd (or similar) (take a look in configuration window).
