Posted - 17 Jun 2006 : 01:08:59 Hi Alessio,
It seams that two function are duplicating movie automatically. I saw that a few time when :
- I change or add a rating (number of star) then save the movie. But only if i have rated another movie before. If i want to avoid the problem, i need to first rate the movie, save the database... refresh the movie list then jump to another movie.
- I copy a picture from the clipboard to a movie. I doesn't seams to happend often, but i saw it a two or three times.
Some manipulations are strangely duplicating movies, i don't really know why... but if i find the answer, i'll put it down there :)
That's all i think for now ^^

Posted - 05 Jul 2006 : 10:36:54 Nope, sometimes movie data is actually rewriten and refreshing doesn't help. I didn't actually figure it out, but the problem could also be because cursor is jumping up in the listed movies...
For example, when you do the search and you get the results, cursor jumps to the first movie, but in the quick edit movie shown data is for some another movie. If you pres the save button at that point, what happens? I think I overwrote the data in this matter several times. |

try refresh after editing any movie. IMHO is not replacing any data, just listing twice.

Posted - 19 Jun 2006 : 00:39:24 Well, I may be waaay wrong, but I think it's a problem of "focusing" like the one I mentioned - XMM seem to apply the changes to different record than the one we think we have selected. Or is it? |

Posted - 17 Jun 2006 : 17:00:07 Yes, this is what I meant with "By the way, I think this happens in other situations as well, so not just my example!" in my previous topic "Previous records are overwritten (Fixed 5.2.7.0)".
It is not just duplicating, it is overwriting another record!!! |
