Posted - 25 Sep 2006 : 21:00:09 using the V5 since several days (5.3.9 to be exactly), I have the following problem (it's not really a bug, but this worked in V4...)
Usally I have the grid list with the followinig entries: CatalogNo, Media, Titel and sorted by Titel.
If I insert a new movie (by AddMovie) and quit the insert box with "Save & Exit" after that, neither the new movie is in the list nor the list jumps to the new entry, like the V4 have done it...
For me it's a important funktion to see if I incidently added a movie twice. Maybe this can be fixed easily...

Posted - 08 Oct 2006 : 15:34:31 in the mean time I tested a little ans I realised:
It works with the treeview switched ON but it doesn't work with the treeview switched off (in the search view)! So this is the real bug, but no longer a problem for me because it doesn't matter if I switch it on or off for me... |

I have try to find a the bug, but I think that there isn't.
The problem is that probably you show in the grid a particular kind of movies (suppose you have group the treeview by "genre", and you show "adventure" movies. Now, if the new movie you add it's not an adventure, XMM will not show it in the grid).
I hope you understand my bad english.

so please tell me: how should I group the list to make it working?
in the case i Wrote about, I had the treeview switched off and it was configured to show all the movies, but it doesn't work. Is it working in your configuration ??? |

Posted - 30 Sep 2006 : 18:06:36 Hi Guys, and sorry for my late reply, I was on holidays
There is no problem, you can leave the 4.8 in your PC without problem, but you must install the new 5.x in a NEW folder.
About the problem, it's strange because XMM should "jump" directly to the new inserted file after you press "save & exit".
I will make some test to find possible bugs.
Thank you!
