When adding a movie title manually and then using the IMDB script to import data, covers etc, a popup appears with "Irfanview" in the title bar stating that there is no disk in the drive. Clicking "Cancel" enables the download to continue, but the popup reappears several times during the download which in turn requires repeated clicks on the "Cancel" button.

In the previous version, it was possible to add a movie without the need to insert the DVD.

Thank you Ditto.

I have add a message if you don't select a drive.

About the second error, I will try to find a cause.

Thank you!

I found the answer to the error displayed in the first image I posted above. XMM couldn't find the IFO file because I hadn't selected the drive to read from. You can actually see that in the image.
In that respect, I'd suggest displaying a message saying "Please choose the drive to read from" instead of the one that says it can't find the IFO file inside the DVD.

But the other one stating that there is no disc in the drive after allowing XMM to read codec information and then adding another title manually without having the DVD, persists unfortunately.

Good morning Alessio

I checked it again this morning and provided you don't insert a DVD before manually adding a title, there isn't a problem.

However, these are the sequence of events to follow to reproduce the bug:

1. Insert a DVD and then go to Add Movies --> Add Original DVDs.
2. After adding the title, click the button "Read DVD...." and you should see the following error appear:

3. Browse the DVD and then choose the "Video_ts_info" (actually I wasn't sure which one to choose, so I just picked the first one):

4. Eject the DVD after the data has been added to XMM and then run the IMDB script to import the rest of the data. You should see the following error appear:

Even if you insert the DVD again, the same error will reappear during the download from IMDB. Any subsequent titles you add manually will cause the same bug to reappear.

A workaround is to shutdown XMM and then restart it again.

Hi Ditto,

It's really strange, I will search the bug. I have try it to my PC now but seem to work correctly.

Do you have this problem only with IMDB?

Thank you!

Alessio
