I keep a lot of windows open at once and jump between. I started an actor import and evidently got distracted and went to other programs, them back to other parts of EMM. Then I re-discovered the open import window which said it was done and I could close it. But clicking "close window" has no effect, and selecting the X window form close (top right corner) only pops up an error saying to stop download first.
The only exit is to exit EMM.

Yes, you are right, it's better if the window is automatically closed by XMM.

I will change this in 5.5.3.0

Thank you!

Hi Alessio,
I thought you fixed this, because a couple times a got a message telling me I was importing and needed to close that dialog before I worked elsewhere. But I still managed to do it again...from actors this time I think.

Perhaps you should consider planning for careless/stupid users like me and have the window close by default (shouldn't be too hard to include in the code block where you post the message about the proceedure being complete). That would not always stop the freeze, but there doesn't seem to be a good reason to leave it open anyway since all you can do at that point is click 'close'.

Thank you Caunt,

Indeed there is a bug, I will try to find it.

Thank you!

Alessio
