1. After update to 5.7.7.0, all scripts are invisible to XMM. They exist in Scripts directory but XMM doesn't wanna see them. More over, "Quick Update from Internet" still shows IMDB as default script, but it complains that it no longer exist.
2. After the same update, Update "From BinaryWorks server" keeps popping "Are you connected to Internet" error * (and I obviously am, since I'm writing this *".
3. Before the update: If a movie was already updated from Internet, when movie title changes (cloned to reuse fields like status, media, codec etc), the import does NOT override the previously imported fields. I cleared Web Imported and Direct Links - nothing; I also cleared Original Title - still nothing; finally, I used "Clear ALL fields", but then it imported only covers and a very few movie fields.

Obviously, #1 problem hurts the most!!!!

I somehow stumbled across that new path but only after I uninstalled and reinstalled application few times.

It's all fine and dandy now except for that Internet Update issue I reported in another thread.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please sorry for my delay!

I think I have made some confusion with these path and I haven't explain correctly what you have to do.

When XMM write you about Path's problem, you must select the "eXtreme Movie Manager" path that is inside your DOCUMENTS' PATH.

Please let me know if this solve the problem.

Thank you and sorry again!

New development: I uninstalled the XMM and cleaned up directories. Then I downloaded fresh 5.7.7.0 and ran install. When installation was completed, I chose to run XMM from the last Install Wizard screen. The splash screen comes on but soon after I get a * "THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH XMM PATHS" instructing me to select XMM path manually. I would do that but it won't proceed anywhere and it won't start if I just close that window (getting a series of errors). I then checked Program Files\eXtreme Movie Manager directory and, sure enough, there's nothing there except for a few exe's and dll's. What in worlds is the problem here? Can you Allessio PLEASE address this ASAP!

I downloaded the full release and installed it. The scripts were there and everything worked perfectly. Then, 1 or 2 days ago, I got notified by XMM that there's a new release. I ran update from XMM; it downloaded the new version along with a few changed and a few new scripts (at least that's what the Update window indicated). After update was done, XMM restarted with problems as described above.

Hi,

I think you have not install the FULL release, please do that (make a backup of your database first).

The Script and all others files are a subfolder of your documents' path.

Just to add to #3: after using "Clear ALL fields", (any) script imports only a handful of fields and, NO MATTER WHAT, no other update can happen.
