Posted - 13 Sep 2007 : 11:48:27 I used the magic script for tv.com to update my tv series. My tv series is numbered as follows(which according to me is the standard) : show season 1\show 1x01.avi up to show season 1\show 1x24.avi show season 2\show 2x01.avi up to show season 2\show 2x24.avi show season 3\show 3x01.avi up to show season 3\show 3x24.avi Meaning that after importing them into the database i have 3 seasons for the show with episodes ranging from number 1 to number 24 for each season Importing the same tv series from tv.com resulted in the following: Season 1 : imported and updated the db without any problems Season 2 and onwards gave problems There where a episode number mismatch between the database and the information imported from tv.com. Tv.com returned Season 2 episodes numbered from 25 until 48 in stead of 1 until 24. Tv.com returned Season 3 episodes numbered from 49 until 72 in stead of 1 until 24 Meaning that the db then had for season 2 my episodes ranging from number 1 to 24, and then the tv.com episodes ranging from 25 until 48. I attached a picture as explanation .
Is there a way to modify the tv.com script to restart episode numbering on each season? This can be added as an option.
Thank you very much PS your software is the best!!! |

Did you maybe have a chance to look at the problem explained above? I just tested it in the new 6.0.8 version, and it looks like it is still giving the same results.
Thank you Erwin PS. Congratulations on the baby!! may you have many happy days/years with her. :) |
