DVD Palace is still making problems - but i tested it out several times.
Sometimes it worked and sometimes not.
And - when i got that fu****ing firewall error - evertime i surf at the web or download soemthing or just working on my computer.
The chances that i will not get the firewall problem are much better if i do nothing as when i work on my computer.
Could that be????

Hi Xua,

Can you send your DB to me? So I can better see what's wrong.

Thank you,

Alessio

I would like to insist the FIREWALL error comes up when you are re-downloading a movie (I always use imdb(complete)) a movie that has grabage in CUSTOM8 as I mentioned in a prior *... the question is where did the garbaga come from... I went thru my complete database (1,600 movies) and found that the movies that I had inserted around march 2007 had garbage in coustom8, the rest were fine... so I would like to suppose that some bug around that time created the garbage...

if for any reason the "Clear previous directlinks" option is UNCHECKED all hell breaks loose...
n/a Posted - 08 Dec 2007 : 08:25:48
If you stop importing you will get the double links for all the movoes that were not imported.
jjaomni Posted - 04 Dec 2007 : 08:52:54
seems the direct link field (which i have no idea where that is kept) has the link twice in it for a lot of the movies in my db. any ideas on how to fix that?
jjaomni Posted - 04 Dec 2007 : 04:08:22
yeah i think xua is right. i am getting errors with just the mvoies that some how got two links into that certain field. got about 20 or 30 movies that happened to. lots of fun!!

Shogun has the same problem with the duplicated http link in WebLink and IMDB link.. I go and edit the fields and fix the link... I click on Update From Internet and the MagicScrip Screen still shows the corrupted link under DirectLink (where did it come from??) if I run the update it gives the FIREWALL error.

Now, if I update with F5 from the main window it works fine...

n/a Posted - 25 Nov 2007 : 21:59:42
turns out that the IMDB link in the CUSTOM tab and the WEB link in the DETAILS tab of ADD/EDIT have the same wrong info...

http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0071562http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0071562

How it got there I have no IDEA
n/a Posted - 25 Nov 2007 : 21:55:47
I just got the FIREWALL error trying to update the Godfather... and I noticed that the Download monitor had strange stuff... here it is:

http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0071562http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0071562

as you can see the LINK is repeated... no wonder it is not getting any response from the internet..

I am having the same firewall problem using IMDB(complete), I am also trying to update my complete colection (1000+). It happens randomly..

jjaomni Posted - 24 Nov 2007 : 05:12:36
yes i most certainly do. was running a compelte up date on my 1000 some movies already in it and got cut off. keeps saying firewall blahblah.
Alessio Viti Posted - 22 Nov 2007 : 16:52:54
Hi,

Do you have problems also with IMDB?

Ale
jjaomni Posted - 21 Nov 2007 : 02:49:30
you know which english script that would work the best?
Ulli Posted - 20 Nov 2007 : 15:19:28
Same problem here as above. I get the error-window "Fehler beim Download der Webseite, sind Sie mit dem Internet verbunden? Bitte sehen Sie nach, ob Ihre Firewall den eXtreme Movie Manager blockiert!" This error occurs after selecting the movie in the script-selection. It doesn't matter on the movie. I use the "filmposter-archiv.de" & the "ofdb.de" scripts.

best regards,
ulli
