Hi,

XMM suddenly has problems loading the database (including back-ups).
When starting XMM it's hanging on 'loading values in grid, please wait'
and below I get the *: '9-index was outside the bounds of the array'
Now when I (after waiting a while) click on 'My TV Shows' it starts working again, switches back to 'My Movies' and loads the data...

If you need more info, let me know.

Tutto OK, problema risolto!
Ho disintallato tutto, pulito il registro di sistema, reinstallato la versione full (nella fattispecie la 6.1.2) ed il messaggio d'errore non c'è più

Hi,

Been away for awhile. Anyway, installed the FULL version, deleted the registry entry (again) started XMM did not get error *s, selected language and.... when opening the example DB I saw in the bottom of the screen, the error * 9-index was... etc. So same problem still.

Note though that when I switch DB (opened my own) I did not get the *. The * is only shown when starting XMM.

OS:Windows Vista Ultimate

Please install the FULL release and then delete the registry key.

What OS do you have?

Hi,

deleted the registry key, started XMM, select language, got some error *s about DB not existing, example not existing, creating new one, etc.

Result: same error * in the example DB. Loaded my own DB, same result, still the error*. Restarted everything, same error *...

Hi,

I think it's a configuration problem. Pleas reset the configuration (by deleting this key in window register or with the utility):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\eXtremeMovieManager

Let me know!

Anche a me stesso messaggio all'avvio (sia con la 6.0.7 che con la 6.0.8).
Come è possibile evitare tale msg d'errore?

Grazie e saluti.

obviously I have run compact and repair and tried to load it again, same result

(still can't edit the first post, and for that matter only one of the two edit buttons, above and below this post work [the one above])

Edit: ok this is weird, I just read something on this forum about 'active card view' and hadn't noticed it until now. So I checked it after starting XMM in the above described fashion.
The active card view kept being stuck on one movie (Which isn't in my database!! [the matrix]), while clicking on several movies in my list. After a while it 'suddenly' did change to the movie I clicked on and all the movies after that.

And now the funny part: when I started XMM again, the problem (9-index was outside the bounds of the array) is gone...?!!
