Hi,

I have 2 problems with the actors.

First one is that some actors emerge several times (e.g. I have 5x Hugh Laurie cause I updated the series "House M.D." 5 times, or 3x Joe Flanigan... although I updated "SG Atlantis" more often than 3 times).

Second one is that when I import a new movie I get sometimes actors named like the genre of the movie (e.g. an actor named "Action"). This problem emerges however only occasionally.

Has someone an idea how to fix these problems?

Hi Shadowman
I had some deal with actors long time ago, but finally i got the solution: try, if you can, to use one (AND ONLY ONE) script to get the actors id and the other info. For "script" I mean even the script in chains. In my cases, I use only one chain (I.E.: My Movies, Filmup, Castlerock and IMDB): in this chain, I have setted My Movies, Filmup and Castlerock NOT TO take any actors informations!
I take the actors ONLY with IMDB (To do this: go to Chains, select a chains, select a script in chains and modify the field to import at the right of the window). In this way I solved my problem, I hope you too.
bye
Alberto
