Hi
I think there are problems with the importation of actor photos. If the name is in database without actor photo, the manager can't get the photo in the re-import information process.

If the actor exist without photo and we try to import the actor information, the manager can't update the photo information...

The only way is delete the all starring, but if we edit the film, we can't delete actors to re-get information with photo...

Hi think you need to change something... Maybe you add something to verify if the photo exist or you add function to clear starring to re-import all information or add choice to «update» photo or «information».

Hi,

I will take a look at the entire process.

Usually I do this:

Use MYMOVIES without importing the starring and rating (you can uncheck these in the advanced options (in the script selection window)

Then I use IMDB complete, that will import all other missing informations like starring, rating and so on...

Hi
I think there are manually solutions... one by one...

1) edit actor profile + update from web + select cover => then you can get photo from imdb

2) to show the photo in the detail movie page you must => in the actor profile, go webpage address, if you are an address like http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000102 copy 0000102 to WebID field

Thats all.

(Please change this in the code...)

Hi again
I discovered this:
1) the actors that appear have the photo like this: "Thom-Hoffman_123845.jpg". In this case the WebID is fill.
2) The actors that the photo is in actor profile and is not in detail filme have the filename like this "13602-Halina-Reijn.jpg". In this case, the webID is empty.

The only way to add photo in detail filme page is with upgrade the actor, but when we click in any field in download windows... that delete the actor from database. Then if we re-import data, the profile of the actor can get right information and add photo to detail filme page.

The "crear all actors" only erase the association with the filme, but can't delete actors from database. To correct the bug is necessary to delete de actor and re-import the information...

This is very bad... can you see what's happen with the process?

(Sorry the english)

Hi again, sorry...
There are a command to clear all actors. But I get this error. I can re-import all actors, but i have this errors:
1) some photos are in actor information file, but is not in the film detail file.
2) Some actores is in IMDB, but manager can't get the fotos.

My teste was with "Black Book" film or "Zwartboek" (original title). The first film file used the dvdempire scrit, after that i used the imdb script, after that i tryed re-import information.

Is this a bug or there are a way to do this?
