Posted - 08 Jun 2009 : 21:10:41 Wow it's been a long time, and lots of changes to XMM. Unfortunately the problem I reported so very long ago has persist after all this time. I know I was not alone but we never could get this figured out.
Here it is for the last time:
When opening a movie into full edit XMM is blanking out fields that have data in them. An example; click a movie and the Movie Card shows the movie as having a Screen Ratio in it, but when I double-click the movie to full edit that field is empty. I see this happening in all kinds of fields (like Music, Photography, Distributor etc.) which makes XMM a program I used on a daily bases into an unreliable application that can't be trusted with time spent cataloging my data. This also happens in the sample database also, this was a problem not exclusive to my own database.
Anyone else experience this issue? Anyone have any new insights as to why XMM is blanking out what seems like random fields when using Full Edit?
Thanks.
Oh, running XMM on XP SP3.
