Hi
I'm using the XMM very long time. So far, everything was OK but the last resolution of the various panes in the Options changed for unknown reasons. It does not allow to display key Save changes. Reinstalling the application does not help. The same version installed on another computer, it behaves correctly.
I am using v.7.1.2.2 for Windows XP SP3

Thank you Alessio! U helped me!
I noticed that in the current version you can freely change the size of the options window. I can fully enjoy the program!

System Font is Tahoma normal

Just a thought: what's the system font?
I use Tahoma Normal size and everything works fine.
At work with MS Sans Serif, too.

I have the same problem with the options window size. It does not show its entire contents. Have tried updating video drivers and changing resolution to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Here are two things I noticed that may or may not have anything to do with the problem. First, it doesn't look like the option page your looking at is the same option page of the current version of XMM. If that's true, try upgrading to the current version. Second, I also noticed that the language character set to a language where the words I can pick out are longer than mine. I only bring this up because I have seen cases (very few) where the language has an effect on the way the screen tries to deal with fixed length pages and fields. I have no suggested way to address that problem but perhaps someone else might have a way to test it. In the mean time, could you tell me a couple of things about your computer? I don't need a manual just a few items I can do some research with.

Computer brand & basic Configuration
Operating System and version
What is the resolution of the display
Can the resolution be increased beyond current setting
Language
Amount of physical memory
Display card brand and on-board amount of memory
Does the display card have a configuration program
if yes,
version of driver
card display configuration
XMM Version

Thanks,
Norm

thats the exact same thing that is happening to me.. I have tried to change my display to small fonts. everything.. but nothing works.
and that makes most of XMM useless for me..

can you make that window adjustable? it is no fixed

Then I don't have any idea. I don't think that it would help but the really last possibility could be an issue of your graphic cards driver or windows: try to change your resolution and/or windows font size...
Markemuch Posted - 03 May 2011 : 22:49:56
I tried. Unfortunately it did not help. I installed the application again several times. I cleaned the registry and everything that could be related to the program. No effect. Is changing everything but not the window resolution.

Let's make a last try:
rename the config.ini file in XMM folder to config.bak and start XMM. Maybe there is only the ini file defective...

It does not solve the problem. My desktop resolution is 1680x1050, after changing it, the window looks exactly the same. For illustration: http://i1086.photobucket.com/albums/j455/Markemuch/XMMOption.jpg

Do you see the close button at the bottom right?
If not: did you have tried to move the options window to see the bottom right corner?
As far as I can check here this window has a fixed size. Maybe it's too big for your resolution!
In that case Ale has to resize it or has to make it resizeable.
