Posted - 14 Jun 2011 : 22:03:38 I am starting a new topic because I have not gotten any responses from my reply to an older thread...
When I try to "Add ripped DVD's" to the database, it makes duplicate entrees for movies that are already in the database. This is VERY VERY maddening. I have manually deleted the duplicates twice now and with a database of hundreds of items this is very time consuming.
I very carefully check the box that says not to import duplicates, but it does so anyway. I have now done this more than once to check... it does it every time. |

Posted - 26 Jul 2011 : 04:03:36 How exactly are you importing the movies into XMM??? As "Movie from CD/DVD" or "Scan Drives for Movies" or are you doing something else?
Thanks, Norm |

Posted - 11 Jul 2011 : 06:19:22 Hi, Following is an example of one of the longest of all paths:
D:\Movies\How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying\VIDEO_TS
All help is appreciated. I bought a second 2TB drive and XMM is going to be my key to all of the movies and TV shows I have on these drives. I've stopped ripping my DVD's to the disks until I can get this figured out.
Thanks, Lee |
