In grid view I have filtered on No image Data. I then select a movie, and add an image using Picture View->Cover Manager->Add

The image now appears in the Picture View Window, but the Picture column still states No Image Data, and a refresh makes no difference. Though about 1 in 10 I do get a thumbnail cover showing

I would expect that as soon as the image has been added, the entry should dissapear as it no longer matches the filter. This is how i have experienced it in a simple Access database, but the extra complexity here may be the reason it doesn't.

The only way I have found to ensure the list is current, is to close the program and start again

You are right: all changes should appear directly in the grid after saving/changing the data.

*Edit*
The filter in XMuM behaves already that way.
