In both:
extrememm7.1.3.8_update.exe
extrememm7.1.3.9_update.exe
are no Movie Cards at all included.  So first make sure you even have the newest MovieCard from the Thread in the HTML Card Section. |

sorry i didn't spot you were already on 7.1.3.9
Here is the one i currently have http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?301ga8avlb2y16o.
I use IE8 on windows XP, i've updated to 7.1.3.9 and this one still works.
If that doesn't work you could always roll back too 7.1.3.8 (http://www.binaryworks.it/download.asp?file=extrememm7.1.3.8_update.exe) in-case you
haven't got it.

Did I understand correctly that the html file in the temp directory is complete but when you execute it in IE and FireFox, they both fail? Since I'm not an expert on XMM or HTML Cards, I'll approach your problem from a different perspective. The questions I have below are related to determining if there is something outside of XMM that might be causing your problem.
When did this happen and when did it last work correctly? Have their been any changes to your system (hardware, software or OS) since it last worked? You indicated your system is set for dual boot, how much memory do you have free once you've booted and started XMM? What versions of OS are you running and what versions of browsers are you using? Do you use a swap file for each boot and if so how much Disc space do you have available for the swap file and can you tell from the Task Manager how much of it is being used. Is the swap file size fixed or dynamic? Also, is the system disk the location of XMM and the System Temp folder? How much free space do you have on the system disk. Do you have any quota's set up for your account or in general for the system? Do you have a Firewall set up on the system? If so, what is it and is it set to allow XMM Internet access (Outbound and Inbound)?
I don't have a fixed schedule as to when I check back on this site but generally its been at least one a week unless family issue develop.

If i open the movie temp in IE i get the message Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX
controls that could access your computer.
I have the option too allow blocked content in IE. Could this be whats stopping the page in Emm. We don't get the option pop up in Emm.
I'll tweak the security options and see what happens. I don't use IE to browse anyway.............
Ok i just lowered everything and enabled allow active content to run files in My Computer, no change still doing the same thing.
Oh well i thought that was the solution, I'll check my settings on Win7 later too see if anything is different.

Strange. Then the IE-Browser engine stops working/rendering...  Maybe something in the IE-Preferences is not correctly set, simply deactivated or the security is set to high...
IE8 is also the worst IE-Version ever made by MS. No other version has more bugs/problems. |

I have just had a look in my EMM folder the temp.htm's are there.
The current temp_collection_movie.htm has all the code, but in browser view nothing after fanart pic.
My default browser is set at Firefox would that make a difference to Emm when it makes the temp file.
Thanks the help in trying to narrow it down. It's not a major problem as i can use your proper card on Win7(I need to see it working so i can update
my custom card and the April tweaked one). |

OK. Then it is a XMM Bug, because the movie card template is parsed and created by XMM and after that it is displayed. (So the html must always be complete)
In this case for some reason XMM doesn't create the complete temporary html file on some systems.
That Bug has Ale to figure out and fix in XMM. That isn't a Card Bug. |

We get an extra line on the non-error newest card: jseen = dseen.replace(/.*(\d\d\d\d).*/,'$1');
I can boot into Win7 if you want and see what it does there. |

To make it clear: That is all the code that is shown in the view page source?
If yes, it's a XMM Bug it doesn't parse the entire page.
The language of the Error-Message is depending on the installed language of IE on the System. |

That's as far as it goes. Why would the error be in German?(ignore already on the page just looked at the code).

Normally there shouldn't be many errors. (Non besides the XMM Bugs related ones)
It would be interesting what the errors say, to maybe narrow the problem down. Probably don't need all error the first few should properly help already. But i also would need the generated temporary html file (right click on the displayed card and choose view page source) to see what exactly the errors are. |

Above card did display with the errors(about 64 errors). Because of the errors there was no pictures just text.
Tried it again just now and this time it is the same as above picture. Just don't make any sense. The latest 1.6.2 update has the same error.
Here is the April 2011 updated with your new code(what i could find).Trailer bit isn't working and few other things: switch cover and slider is slow, but i don't use them.

I don't know if it will help. also Maxn1 could use this one for now.
p.s off topic a bit, but color picker always resets itself could that be part of the java-script errors.

You could try this error Version of the Card. Based on the newest Card over in that Thread: http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7533&whichpage=30
It's open a Error-Dialog for every Javascript - Error (even the ones that are XMM trigger through defective XMM javascript functions) Warning: It's not for normal daily use, since it will trigger a few Error Dialogs related to XMM Bugs.
