i tried to add a new cover from a dvd and got the following messages:
5access to the path 'F:\XXXX.jpg' is denied.
5value for 'null' is not valid for 'stream'.
91object reference not set to an instance of an object.
after the last message the cover was added.
tried three times , three different covers from different cds.

Hello Guys,

The problem is that XMM try to access to the image in a way that is not "Read-Only", so for devices like CD/DVD you get the error.

I will try to find a solution

ususaly when adding pictures there's no problem, in a subfolder of my database, but this time, only when i add from a cd, it gives me those messages.

I sometimes get that error with other programs, too. But that's only on my job where it is for any reason forbidden to write directly to the root dir.
Otherwise doesn't save XMM the pics in a subfolder of your database? So there should not be any access on the root...
