Hello

I am using the export option on XMM to export into the database of NMJ on my PCH 200 but are having problems.
Here is what I have done:

1) I have my movies on two NAS (mapped as X: and Y:)
2) I created a new database on XMM and scanned both NAS. One at a time.
3) I then update all my movies from internet with cover and info.
4) I start the export option under "My Device" and "My Pocorn Hour"
5) On XMM DB I select the dabase I have created.
6) On drives I select "All"
7) On NMJ DB I select the NMJ database located on the local drive of my PCH C-200
8) I tick the box "Overwrite pictures"
9) Thats all I do and then I click "Start"

When I then start my NMJ all images are the same and the link to my movie does not longer work.
If I use a tool called NMJ Toolbox were I can look inside the database I see the link to the image (front cover) is replaced with "video_ts.jpg" and that goes for all my videos. So all my videos have the same link to a image called video_ts.jpg
And again...the link to my video is not working so it will not start.

Luckly I always make a backup of my files so I just restored the files and then my NMJ is working again but without the data from the XMM.
This is frustrating.
I really would like to use my XMM to export info into NMJ but for somehow I cant get it to work.

Please help me anyone.
Ask me questions if you need more info.

I just checked it again and as an example the cover for the movie "10" is in my XMM database named as 101979308_f.jpg.jpg but when its exportet to NJM and I look into that database after exporting its renamed to video_ts.jpg. This is wrong. It should still be 101979308_f.jpg.jpg and the link should be to that cover image because what is happened now is that all movies is linked to the same cover image in the NMJ folder /media/video/poster/video_ts.jpg

What I also just now discovered was that if I choosed to just export ONE movie (ticked the box Marked) it exported of course only that movie, again with the wrong name on the cover but the image was correct, but then it terminated my database so that ONLY this movie shows up when I use my NMJ even though the size of my databasefile has not changed. So it has put in a end-of-database charachter or something.

What am I doing wrong here ????

Hi,

I have the same issue that many videos have the same pic. they all refer to one pic video_ts.jpg. However not all vids share the pic, but only those, which are ripped DVDs with the video_ts folder and vob files. The pics of all other vid formats are find. Interestingly the pic video_ts.jpg is the cover of the alphabetically last ripped DVD in my list, which starts with a W.

So have you or anyone found a solution to this issue?

regards
P

Hi there,

ragarding the NMJ drive please refer to the onex2 documentation.

Can you send me your XMM database file, or a download link via PM?

Best regards
ternot
