Hi,

After installing the new version 7.2.0.0 The installation has become really unstable.
Many hangs on Import or opening a table. opening movies etc, etc,...

Now on the last hang I get the following error:

This database is not compatible, Error point 423
-2147467259 Unknown database configuration.

I hope that there is a solution for this. And that i wont have to do all the work again :(

btw, the database will get very slow after u add 600Movies to it...
Is there a way to make a SQL backend? preferable MySQL?

Hope u can help!

Aron

Hi

First, I wish an happy new Years to all Members of this Forum.

After changing Hardware, I have reinstalled OS : windows 7/64 & EMM

OS is installed on Drive C:
XMM & Database on Drive D:

After reinstalling, error is encounter :
This database is not compatible, Error point 423
-2147467259 Unknown database configuration.

I have suppressed ICU without results.

After activating Administrator Accound & starting Cession under Administrator, the Problem disappear
If I desactive Administrator & start Cession under Account wich is member of Administrator Group, the Problem is still present.

Finally, I have reinstalled XMM on Drive C:, leave Databases on Drive D: and now EMM is working.... (administrator still desactivated)

The Question is why is it impossible to use EMM on other Drive as C: ?

Actually, when I use Script, Poster are not imported (I have checked allocine, cinemotion & cinemovies)

Hopping this can help somebody...

Regards

JP

No, it is not only related to the latest update.
But it is more visible and noticeable.

As an example. I have the movie The Legend from 1985 If i try import it EMM will find it with a direct link. But after that EMM hangs. I tried it 4 times now.

I think most of my problem are related to the wireless network. But EMM cannot handle timeouts or a recovery from a broken network link(for a short period of time).
This is not a excuse for me to blame EMM the blame is with the wireless range of my router ;) but maybe some catches are really nice :) u never know when u will have a link down or something else.
Because now my DB is gone...

Hello Aron.

Do you think the problem is only with the latest update? I mean, before you have not problems?

Ale
