Hi,

The HDD update does not work completely. He misses ALOT of directory´s
I have about 880 Movie files digitised from DVD to AVI. But EMM only sees 778. And when i want to add more movies he does not import them into the DB. And when i try to rescan the folder he finds the same movies again...

I checked with one movie. it is a simple AVI no words or something that prevents hum access. as far as i can see there is no rights problem.

What can it be? I run version 7.2.0.0

I'm not born 1877 *lol*

As you might have read in the forum Ale has become father for the 3rd time... so he really has much to do and can't be as present as all the time before. But he read most of the topics and tries to satisfy us all ;)

Ale surely will correct this in one of the next releases. As he is the only programmer it's not always as fast as we users wish ;)

Hello?

Are u guys working on it? Or what is the next step???
aronjd Posted - 13 Dec 2011 : 19:35:02
SOLUTION!!!
It seems that after removing all double movies that there is no update movie screen during the scan HDD folder procedure the movies will get imported. and that the count is ok.

Is there a way to disable the update movie link? Or can u please adjust the code for this?
aronjd Posted - 13 Dec 2011 : 19:12:42
Another strange thing...

If you make a HDD scan. And he finds a movie to be updated (old link / new link) And you will stop the scan.

After that reopen the HDD scan view. and scan again.... u will find NO movies to be added in the database...

Close EMM restart EMM rescan and ... *drum sounds* he will find new movies...

If we can speedup the fixing process with something i will gladly help in any way possible...

After creating a new database i get 870Movies in the DB. And that sounds about right.

It seems that when EMM gives u a popup like a update movie or something that the scanning will fail???
aronjd Posted - 13 Dec 2011 : 16:11:23
But he tells me that the scan is complete.

How many movies is the max that u can import?

I'm btw making a new database to see if there is a error in the DB
Alessio Viti Posted - 13 Dec 2011 : 15:47:57
Yes, if the scan is not complete movies are not added to database, this is why XMM keep telling that there are new movies.
aronjd Posted - 13 Dec 2011 : 14:38:46
After a restart i can finish a scan hard drive run.
But after selecting every movie and clicking on update there will be NO actual update. EMM does not add the movies to the database?

After a re run of the scan every movie that has been found previous will be found again?

Yes,

But it is the only window i use.

aronjd Posted - 12 Dec 2011 : 22:43:27
after a reboot the outof memory exception is gone.

but i cannot add more movies? What can it be??
aronjd Posted - 12 Dec 2011 : 22:16:54
And now... After a restart of EMM....
