hi,
i added more than 3000 films from network by adding movies button (scan drives for movies) but since last few version i am not able to add all movies from the folders. it seems (i am not sure) that it is not importing .avi files but .mkv and .mp4 files are ok.
i need to search .avi's also..
is this a bug or did i made a mistake?

Yes please, install the full release.
Make a backup of the database first

Its strange, I have all my movies in the network too, but XMM can found all movies.
Have you install also the latest update?

maybe it is because of i am trying to add this movies from network?
because scanner acting strange sometimes like sometimes it see the folder in trhe network sometimes cant see...

no it is not :| exclude list have
sample
trailer
but my movies has not, also i have avi in extention list but cant see any avi found. |

Hello,
From some release there is also a list of Words to "exclude" from search.
If the filename contains for example the word "sample" or "trailer" (these are the default one) the movie isn't imported.
Can this be the cause?
Please write me the complete path of a movie that is not imported by XMM.
