when i search or update movie info for movies in database, sometimes i get this behaviour:

-- on the original title i get "Imdb search"
-- on directlinks AND weblink "htp:/akas.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=dial+m+for+murde"
-- on web id i get "nk rel="canonical" href="http:"
-- on imdb link "htp://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTI4NDMyNzg5MV5BMl5BanNxXkFtZTcwOTcwNjQxMQ@@._V._V1._SY400_SX300_.jpg</thumb>"

and when this happens, the title of the film is overwritten with the name of the previous film updated, or it is updated alternatively with "imdb search" or with title from last film imported if i update a single film.

It happens randomly on just some film titles during batch, but when happens i have to rename the title, original title, and clear all web id's to fix it. VERY frustrating!

Looks like a cache problem?

I'm running latest version of XMM and script (both imdb complete & fastest) as of today.

any suggestion?

thank you
Marco

Thank you for the info, I haven't notice it before.

I will take a look.

i fixed it!

it appears that if in "imdb link" for some reason there is a link that the script doesn't understand, the imported information will screw up.

i would suggest to insert a sort of "coherency check" in all the links fields that if some movie has a too different content compared to the other, it will warn user.

Or just allow the script to build the link from scratch, starting from only the webID.
