hi!
i reinstalled my windows 7 machine (.net already in the os), installed xmm and copied back my database.
But unfortunately i cannot scan for files anymore- xmm crashes all the time. How can i help tracking down the problem?

Hi Alessio!

I cant explain, but now it works (but I didnt change anything on the system). The messages were very different... from the lack of .net (what wasnt true) via a JIT error to a "database not compatible" and an adodb error. Strange! (Screenshots werent possible as the crashing application was captured just black by snagit)
For now, it works without problems. The only thing was that during that testing, xmm indicated that it has not enough memory (hu?) but the only thing running the same time was jdownloader(which CAN be exhaustive)...
Ill keep you updated and thanks for the quick answer!
