Just wanted to report that updating is blocked by Eset NOD32... recognizes "Win32/Adware.Somoto.A" on http://www.binaryworks.it/files/extrememm_update_s.exe

Well, most likely that's refering to BetterInstaller (Somoto is the company behind BetterInstaller).
Personally, I don't like this latest move towards generating some additonal money from updates by kinda tricking us to install Babylon or anything else we didn't ask for in the first place. :|
But I guess with some care during installation - and maybe terminating BetterInstaller / deleting the .exe from your TempDir after it did it's job so no connections stay open for it - you may not risk too much. |
