I installed xmm 7.2.3.6.
1. Even when xmm minimized it's load processor (2.0+ athlon) by jumping from 30% to 100% usage. And every time i click movie in list - freezing for 3-7sec. I believe this bug was in older version, wth?
U know, its needs talent to step on the same rake twice.
2. When xmm starts and info window pop-up where says there is some movies files missing, may be deleted. I clicked on it before xmm totally loaded. Opens window with those movies but all windows: tree, thumbs, pictures view, quick edit. all of it just messy chaotically located all over the xmm window (i use maximized xmm). If i wait till its totally load - works fine. But still have something to think about..
How do u like it?

Jes, i can't even load screenshot here

Well. I think program should ask me if i want it to scan all my drives before do. Besides how much time it takes to scan drives? My program was run for 2h and no changes. U do realize it's just wrong?
About HTML card, it got to be done something with this thing. 3-7sec delay between each click is absolutely unacceptable. idk, gotta be some cashing, paging wat ever it takes to make program work fast and enjoyable.
And about 8th version. Last time i changed version from 6 to 7, it had so many lags, bugs and worked so damn unstable that i stop using this product for 6-8 months, until was developed more-less stable version. Obviously 7th version haven't fixed till now and i doubt 8th will resolve all problems that 7th couldn't. Don't get me wrong way. The idea and so useful features that has xmm put it on top of ANY kind of movie catalogizators etc, but instability of software pretty scare the hell out for any user. I use xmm, idk 5 years or about. The most stable version was 6th but sure it had look like win98 product. I had corrupted database twice for time i use xmm with bugged xmm features. Now, before use anything or install new update i use backup. I worked 5 years on my database and understandable i'm not easy going for totally changes in my software i used too or database structure. Really hope 8th will be better and fast but consider wat ive went through i can be skeptical.

Thank you for the info,

I think that XMM was scanning your HD in search for movies, this is why the CPU was so high.

When you click on movie list, if you have many details imported from internet, it take some time to show the HTML Card.

I suggest you to give a try to new XMM 8. Its still in alpha release, only for tests, but in 2/3 weeks maximum It will replace XMM 7

Ale
