I've noticed this problem is persistent across the last several updates to XMM, and at least two other people on the forums have experienced this issue also.

When adding fan art to movie records, there are several anomalies:

1) the image files when copied to the storage directory are sometimes misnamed
2) the same fan art is often being used for more than one movie

For example, when adding fan art to several movies today, here was my process:

1) double clicked a movie to enter edit screen
2) went to Pics | Fan Art | Cover Manager | Add a New Cover
3) loaded the JPG from a file folder I created
4) saved and exited.

After I added covers to 9 movies in this way (sometimes I also dragged and dropped the JPG file into the fan art window as well) and 4 of the movies:

Fight Club
Independence Day
Lost In Space
The Breakfast Club

all share the same images in the fan art section, and these four are all named incorrectly (99-Independence-Day-Kl_fanart_1, 99-Independence-Day-Kl_fanart_2, etc.)

Deleting the fan art from the records doesn't help, because they reattach themselves again in the same way if I repeat this process.

Help please?

Thank you,

I will try to reproduce the error to see what's going on.

Ale
