The automatic update in the background does not seem to be doing anything.

I imported all the movies from XMM7. When importing I did not import the actors because the import script recommended to not do the import and they will be automatically updated by XMM8 after import is complete.

I have the following.

Ribbon > Main tab > Files button > Options > General tab: Automatically check for updates = Checked

Ribbon > MagicScript tab > Default script for movies = IMBD (Fastest)

Ribbon > MagicScript tab > Default script for TV = IMDB (TV Series for Rel. 8)

I think that's all I need, right? But nothing is getting updated.

What else do I need to do?

Hello,

The automatic update works when you add a new Movie.

For the movies imported from V7 you have to press CTRL-A to select all movies and then right click and select "Re-Update"

Ale
