Hey all!

Something weird happend when I imported information from IMDB (fastest)

In XMM7, the Scriptengine would ask me which of the found results was the correct one unless there was only one available. I have the impression XMM8 doesn't behave the same way, updating 1500 movies resulted in 2 or 3 "asks".

Below a screenshot of the result.
On the left you can see the list with the duplicate filter, the script recognized a lot of movies as the same one, on the right one of these in more detail, you can see the file (and resulting imported title) was not Ong Bak.

These are my engine settings:

I moved the nfo files temporarily to another folder and imported from scratch.
Issue does not occur now so there must be a nfo related bug somewhere..

OK, try to disable the option related to get information from nfo in device scanner before scanning your device.

I've resolved in this way.

Hello,

Its quite strange... The only way right now is to select all these "Ong-bak" movies in the grid, then Right-Click -> Clear All Fields and reset import status.

Now the boring thing is to edit these movies and change the title, depending by the Filename.

After that, try to reimport again.

Yes I do, these nfo files contain the title and IMDB link only.
A search in file confirms that "Ong Bak" is not mentioned in these.

Hi, a little question, do you use .nfo files?
I had a similar problem and was nfo related.

Forgot one important detail: Ong Bak was one of the few movies I had to choose by hand...
