It simply write that can be used as portable, means that can load the files under the EXE folders, just this.
Of course XMM looks in the registry for the license, but you can use in a USB key and load from your different computers.

Posted - 18 Oct 2013 : 18:34:23 I think this doesn't matter much because as far as I can see it's just a claim, not really some functionality. XMM still writes to the registry, for instance. A portable app wouldn't do so by itself. |
