Posted - 01 Nov 2013 : 19:08:31 Hi!
I did buy XMM to organize my movies and integrate the DB with myfilms into mediaportal. However this only works via the xml export option - which seems to be broken.
I know that the fallback option is XMM v7 but I do not like the user interface, v8 is much better.
Will XML export bug be fixed? |

Posted - 29 Nov 2013 : 14:58:47 I can confirm, what ichkriediekriese says. The export module for myfilms in Media Portal has never worked in XMM 8 and was already broken in XMM 7.
The only possible way is the work around, I've described here: http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10237. Nothing is happened with this topic since my comment at 4. January 2013. And you can't do this from the XMM 8 database, because of the changes in the database, such as actors and more.
If this issue should be solved in XMM8, I would be very happy, because right now I maintain both XMM7 and XMM8. I can give you an example of such a xml file, if you wish. |

Posted - 16 Nov 2013 : 13:40:15 Hi!
The following entry is missing in XMM 8 XML-Export function:
<MovieFile1>Y:\abcde.mkv</MovieFile1>
I only bought XMM for the use in conjunction with Mediaportal and MyFilms and now it does not work. So here is a simple question: Will this be fixed?
thank you |

Posted - 03 Nov 2013 : 08:28:29 Ok I could have been more specific.
Mediaportal can display cover art and movie info but it can't play the file. The reason is that XMM does produce an output but the output lacks the file path/location - it just isnt there. |
