OK, so script problems continue...
Here is the problem with IMDB Complete.

When I use it to update movies, it automatically selects the links to the movies most of the times (60%-70%), but there are some movies that it chooses wrong link and the only way to fix it is clear ALL data and import status, and run the script alone with it's Intelligent Directlink Engine OFF.
If I leave the Engine on, it will again pick the wrong link and it will not even ask me about it, it will just get it automatically...

Just to give you a few examples of movies and actual links:

Mad Max Fury Road - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt4679900
Birdman - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt4126534
Dumb and Dumber To - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt4019974
Into the Woods - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt4695810
The Expendables 3 - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt4001166
The Badabook - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt5040272
The Summit (2012) - http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt2543580

and list goes on... Check out what it picks to import!

Does this happen to anyone else?
Any solutions besides using the script without the Engine, so pick every movie myself?

Thanks again...

Main -> Files -> Options: Tab "MagicScript" - the second bold line.

Options -> MagicScript -> Take the DirectLink if there is only one found
I cant find a menu option Options let alone a 'Take DirectLink' option

With my webquery above there will be shown only movies I think. But in my opinion it is the best way to chose the movie manually if there is more than 1 directlink.
And more than "a fistful of" movies you normally don't have to add at a bunch.

This solution is tricky too because when You have frech, italian and japanese movies in your collection, it gets really annoying to select them this way...
Thanks for the effort though...

Manually selecting links works better... Too much hassle and too many mistakes that take far more time to fix with the Engine ON compared to manual selection...
I guess that it needs a little bit refinement the script... The part that it really needs is the one to choose only movies and REALLY reject other bullshit web-tv, imdb shows etc...

I just have checked all those movies on my machine and it seems as if it is always the first link in the imdb list fitting the search.

One thing you can try is to edit the script and exchange the webquery.
From:
#WEBQUERY#=http://akas.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=#MOVIE#
To:
#WEBQUERY#=http://akas.imdb.com/find?q=#MOVIE#&s=tt&ttype=ft&exact=true&ref_=fn_tt_ex

But for this search you have to know the correct spelling. As example "Mad Max Fury Road" finds not match but "Mad Max: Fury Road".
You have to decide which solution fits your preferences best. Just Try to play with the parameters on akas.imdb.com.

Oh I found it...But this suggestion led me to the dicovery of another bug...
It was already checked but still it doesn't work... Single links don't get selected automatically!
And the most important is the initial problem, that it selects the irrelevant stuff without asking which really is a bug... Is it really difficult for this to be fixed in the script? I have no idea about scripting, so I am just asking...
JDommi Posted - 07 Oct 2015 : 23:13:54
They are! The options are all global settings. Others are used only for the specific script. Beside these there is a 3rd block: the script internal programmed options.
dimxr Posted - 07 Oct 2015 : 22:47:01
OK, thanks...
And that with the DirectLink Engine set to ON?

All these separate settings should somehow be gathered to one place I believe...
JDommi Posted - 07 Oct 2015 : 21:43:51
Options -> MagicScript -> Take the DirectLink if there is only one found
dimxr Posted - 07 Oct 2015 : 21:37:20
So, how did you do that?
I didn't find that option so far...
JDommi Posted - 07 Oct 2015 : 18:09:44
I have set my options to take a film if only one directlink exists. On that Mad Max Fury Road and The Babadook were correctly imported.
The others have shown several results that were too close to the original title. But you are right on The Expendable 3. This one should have been identified anyway.
