I get this error dialog box while trying to update a movie with the IMDB complete script.

91Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I am running version 8.5.7.0 of EMM on Windows 10 64-bit.

Any help?

Anand

Hello Guys,

I am trying to fix this right now.

Thank you!

That's the buffer error I mentioned... although the script is new the old one is used.
Unfortunately I don't know a fix for this except the above one.

Thank you. This method worked. No errors now.

Really strange... I don't get the error.
Try this please:
1. extract the IMDB.COM (Complete).txt from the rar file (link above) to your desktop
2. rename it to IMDB.COM (Complete)_V2.txt
3. copy this file to the scripts folder of XMM (C:\Users\[PROFILE]\Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager 8\Scripts)
Then try another import with this "new" script.

I don't know what you mean by block. For example, in this movie A Most Violent Year, I am getting the error dialog on Execution Line 1458. Current Block is ACTORS.

Same error in same Execution Line and BLOCK in the other 2 movies also.

I have checked all three movies but didn't have got any error...
Can you identify the block where the error occurs by activating the advanced options during import?

Okay, I will have a look at.

Try these movies - 'A Most Violent Year, Runner Runner, To The Wonder'. I am using the IMDB complete script. Setting it to load 12 actors along with the filmography.

If that still happens then there must be a bug somewhere in the script.
Please name one or more examples to fix the script.
anand_gadre Posted - 17 Apr 2016 : 15:09:47
I updated the scripts. This seems to be happening on some movies only. Very annoying though.
JDommi Posted - 17 Apr 2016 : 12:52:40
The scripts are newer than the included. Give it a try, please.
anand_gadre Posted - 17 Apr 2016 : 12:32:57
This is a fresh install. So there are no old scripts. This is happening only on the IMDB scripts. Not on any other script.
JDommi Posted - 17 Apr 2016 : 10:25:23
Does it happen all the time or only on a special movie?
Do you have the latest update of the script? Try these IMDB Scripts: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ye3cf5gssrra4v5/IMDB.rar
Maybe you have to rename the script from the archive above as for some reasons the old scripts are loaded out of a buffer (http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14409)
