I installed the latest update, which took XMM from version 8 to version 9, and authenticated it.

However, all my movies have disappeared and I have an empty database.

Can you tell me the simplest way to get it all back from one of the backups?

I could probably work it out but, presuming this is not meant to happen when you upgrade from 8 to 9, I'd rather ask than fiddle and risk mucking it up even further. :)

Thanks in advance.

In fact the loss of data is not typical for the update.

To get back everything have a look here: http://www.binaryworks.it/cgi-bin/data/wiki/doku.php?id=backup_database

I hope this will do it again!
