Posted - 17 Oct 2012 : 01:53:17 Hello all, I updated from 12 to 13 today and noticed a problem after updating. When I try to renumber movies Alphabetically I get the following error report(after setting debug mode):
5-The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain d...
Renumbering in 12 was in 2 phases, in 13 it's very fast and done in one pass. Any idea what I did wrong? Thank you.

Posted - 18 Oct 2012 : 03:01:51 Hello all, Updated to 14 today. After update, movie renumbering (alphabetical) works, and displays correctly, but will not save database giving same error message as before. I'm going to try a full install of 14 to see if it's still there. You guys are doing one hell of a job. My hats off to all of you.

Posted - 18 Oct 2012 : 02:09:18 Nope not at all. We're working on a new version and doing a ton testing so if you see anything like that happening please post about it. Ale is doing a fantasic job of coding and is very creative and listens to his users which is why this software IS number one in my book and I recommend to people. Thanks for your help. Chad |

Posted - 17 Oct 2012 : 01:57:23 You didn't do anything wrong. I had the same problem and posted about it this morning. I think we got a bug that Ale will have to look at. This just started happening with the most recent release. |
