Hi Just a few problems (as I see them)
I have moved from v7 to v8 and imported my details from v7 to v8.
The "Original Title" is now just a Year in brackets.
Then, as I have a few new films in .mp4 and .avi formats. I decided to add them.
Once they have been imported:
"Files" tab, has a field of 'Type'. It is always blank.
The "Custom 3", "Custom 5", "Custom 6" fields are filled instead of Budget, Revenue, Editor.
Also -
"Main" tab, what is the 'Category' drop-down for?
"Details 2" tab, Nearly all the boxes stay blank.
"Details 3" tab, 'Movie Features' all blank, but now and again, the top one is ticked but the feature listed is a two-line description, squeezed into one line.
"Video" tab, 'Screen Ratio', 'Video Mode', 'Video Standard', 'Ripper', 'Media Language', all blank.
"Personal" tab, the 'Owner' drop-down doesn't contain anything.
"Custom" tab, how do I rename the 'Custom 1', 'Custom 2', etc..
I tried using 6 scripts, but still couldn't get Awards, IMDB link, Goofs, Trivia, etc.
I just hope it's something I have done wrong, rather than a loss of the functionality.

Hi,
I tried IMDB.com(everything), Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Blu-Ray.com, DVDEmpire.com(Blu-Ray and DVD).
When editing a movie, 'Title' is OK, 'Year' is OK but on the "Main" Tab, the 'Original Title' field is just the year in round brackets (as I said originally).

what script do you use?
What do you mean "original title" just a year in brackets? there's the "Year" field and there's "Original Title" field.
Category is something else than a genre. for instance: Animated,Classic, Children/Family, Compilation, Special Edition, Special Interest... But i don't understan why it stays empty. i checked the category List in the category manager and it's not empty. BUG.
Video tab: "screen ratio" is imported by a script. "video mode", "video standard" are for VHS use. Video Mode is :SP/LP/EP, Video Standard: PAL/SECAM/NTSC. those should be filled by the user. Media language is also in the Audio Tab, i think it should be removed from Video tab.
Personal: The Owner drop down menu stays empty, you are wright. i tried to fill the field manually for a film. saved it. wanted to choose the same owner for other films but it stays empty.
Which script did you use? only IMDB scripts import IMDB link, goofs,trivia, etc because this information is available on IMDB.com |
