Posted - 25 Jul 2013 : 11:46:37 Hi,
I recently had a complete PC disaster and my XMM movie DB backup didn't work either so I had to rebuild my DB from the internal hard disk containing all my movies. Not too much of a problem but I used to just point the device scanner to F: (Films) and it would find movies whether they were single files or in folders. I use folders when I also have an .srt subtitle file. However, now it only finds single files and doesn't seem to look in the subfolders.
I've searched all through the settings in the Device Scanner but can't find any option to scan subfolders as well.
From searching this forum it seems it may have something to do with the fact that the folders are named exactly the same as the movie and .srt file but I've always done it like that and it worked before. Am I missing something?
As an example a folder would be Chariots Of Fire (1981) with an .mp4 and an .srt both named the same inside.
Thanks in advance for any help.
