A mini-series is typically considered a TV show. I would bring it in as that. In that way, each show is a episode which can have its own unique set of information and images and so on. I do it all the time. Just put all episodes into a single folder and add that folder to the list of folders for TV shows. I also make sure that all episodes have a common naming format such as

TV Show Name,S01E01,Episode Name.WMV

With the exception of the file type, the rest is a pretty common naming format used on the Internet, its not the only format but I've found its used a good deal. The S01E01 stands for Season 01 and Episode 01. You'll also need to set XMM up to correctly parse the format. To do this, go into the Add TV Shows by Device Scanner. In the upper right corner you'll see text saying "Right Click for more Options", do that and you'll get a drop down list. Select the "Extract Title, Season, Number from Title". The next screen will give you an example of how XMM will parse the filename but it can be changed. To change it using the example I used above, use the string,

<SERIE>,S<SEASON>E<NUMBER>,<TITLE>

Now just save your work and your ready to start importing TV series or mini-series and so on. Once the importing of the files has been completed, you can start by going into the edit card for the TV Show and begin importing web information. Unlike Movies, if you go to the Episode tab on the Edit card, you'll see the complete list of episodes. You can the group select those and also do a web download to populate each of them with their unique information and images. You can also click on each episode and see its unique Edit Card as well.

Hopes this helps.

Norm

In the normal XMM grid, you'll see the mini-series just like a movie title

Try to import it as a movie. You can add multiple files to a movie file entry. (Like if it's split in CD-sized parts)
