This looks more promising than my current database Movie Collector.

Is there a means of say importing/updating a single field from a new source? I'd like to take the movie info from wherever - maybe IMDB, and then update single fields from other sources.

IMDB are poor with plot summaries for instance, and in particular I find the Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes to be a far better gauge of a movie's quality than any Audience score.

Thanks

In general that's no problem as you can combine scripts. In the script options you can set internal settings like importing a special amount of actors. Further you can tell XMM with which script you wanna import what fields.
At the moment there is only one problem that Ale, the sole programmer, is already informed about: https-sites can't be processed. Since about a short time as example amazon.com has moved from http to https. These sites don't work anymore. But I'm sure that the import function soon will process them again.
