Posted - 02 Dec 2012 : 06:42:46 hi all, here's the case, there's french movie, the original title is in French, its title in IMDB is English, when it was imported into Germany, it has a German title. So in XMM, the relationship between XMM term and real world term may be: 1. XMM 'Original Title' = real world 'Original Title' = French. Right? 2. XMM 'Title' = real world 'Title' = IMDB 'Title' = English. Right? 3. XMM ??? = real world 'title for import to a new country' = German. Right?
But the imdb & theMovieDB scripts seem to put the English title into 'Original Title', so does it mean the French title should be put into XMM 'Title'?
What made it more complex is that if I am a Japanese, I want to make a script to download the movie info from a Japanese movie website, all the title/plot/crew/cast are in Japanese, which fields I should put these info into? |

There isn't a field for a third title... If you are German you should use the Original Title for French and German for Title...
