in the example database there beautiful high-resolution pictures for the background of my website (e.g. the awesome avengers one) From which script are these pictures? With normal import from imdb they look not sooooo good.

IMDB doesn't have good pictures, imho it's only for data. themoviedb.org and impawards.com are better. But don't forget to take the copyright into account when you publish it on your website.
