the IMDB scripts don't seem to load most Details 2 or custom fields.
The trivia and goofs fields in particular havent been loading for ages.

is their any intention to resolve this or is it likely we'll not see these loaded again?

(thanks by the way for an excellent product)

Hello,

I thinks problem with missing information from most of "Detailes 2" is related to fields who are importable by scripts

Tested with movie connection field, the information it's scraped ok from the site, but don't get into the database,
put the info in another available field, and gets into the database;
(#TAKEMOVIECONNECTION#= dosn't appear to be working anymore)

why field included in existing scripts can't be imported anymore ?
it's probably a result of changes from newer versions and should be fixed in a future release.

I'm from Germany. Both IMDB Scripts dont import the Details 2 fields.

Furthermore, there are problems with special characters in search results and title names.

EDIT:
dustdancer has a hotfix for the latter issue: http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12279

If you delete all the SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYs and add dustdancers list to the SUBSTITUTEWORD Tags, then the Details2 section gets imported!

Hello,

Thats strange. I have update the scripts via LiveUpdate and then I have add the Dark Knight Rises movie, this is the result.

Where are you from? It can be because IMDB HTML is different from mine (Italy)?

It's really dissappointing. Realise it may be a problem with IMDB, but it is dissappointing that in updating XMM, adding new features, that others are lost. The ability to download most data from imdb entries for offline use was the main reason I bought XMM years ago. Really miss the functionality.

CUSTOM
Custom 1 contains figure $1,084,439,099. I can't find this figure on the IMDB page

other customs fields are all empty.

Same here. No data from complete script.
If i use the fastest imdb script i can get release date, and in the aka field "AKAs Titles:" (but no aka data) and the certifications (with data).

Tried several combinations, but no solution so far.
Salute.

NO, sorry, the IMDB complete script is not downloading everything (as it used to in xmm7)

As an example (results are the same for all movies in my database. I've also created a brand new database with XMM8 latest release and scripts and get same results)

: Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Details 2
Only populated fields IMDB Top 250, and Budget.
remainder empty

The page on IMDB has entries for Goofs, Trivia and Movie Connections and Release dates. This data doesnt appear in Details 2 fields

CUSTOM
Custom 1 contains figure $1,084,439,099. I can't find this figure on the IMDB page

Custom 7 lists awards nominated/win summary

other customs fields are all empty.

I have the following script options set (that seem to relate to missing data)

Release dates list (custom field 9)
one release date (customer field 2) (release dates not in details or custom tab)
Add Movie Award. No award in details but does appesr in custom
Trivia (customfield 11)
Goofs (customfield 10)
trivia and goofs not appearing in details 2, or custom

in FIELDS I have ALL fields set to import (all ticked)

Hello,

The IMDB Complete should download everything, isn't it?

Ale
