To me it was quite useful that function, very comfortable for the maintenance of the database.
Another thing I notice, but it seems a bug: When I add a video to the database, XMM8 does not save the media label.
My XMM version is 8.0.2.5.

In folders with coma in name, open movie folder do not work correctly. It would be important because many films have some punctuation in the title.
My version is XMM 8.0.4.3
