Posted - 29 Dec 2012 : 17:51:10 After import my EMM 7.x DB to EMM 8.0.3.9 i've seen a couple of thinks missing which were solved in ver.7:
columns Audio Bitrate, Audio format and number of channels are missing
all persons are not beeing imported - do i have to run the scripts over 1500 movies???
content of "user defined field 2" was imported to "premier date"
whats about the media browser support? where can i export the data to the xml-files?
regards, ulli

In XMM 8, Audio got its own database table and its fields were not added to the main grid yet. Every data not present in the main movies table obviously needs a little bit of additional logic to get shown in the main grid. Usually we get "our" fields back at some time - just ask Ale for what you miss ...

Before importing XMM asks you if you want to import your actors too. This is OFF by default (mainly because it takes a lot longer I guess).
When I imported my version 7 database I opted for an import WITH actors and it worked quite well.

There should be an option for this as well. Maybe you let XMM do the import with default settings?
