Everytime I do an update I need to change my config.ini file, in order to restore my settings such as "title cleaning", "rename file masks", "TagToUseForTVShow" etc.

Perhaps there can be and option with in the software to recall settings / read settings from the database itself, that way the user can save customized data such as above, with in the reach of a solid ground.

What do you think?

Regards,
Erke

You must be doing a complete re-install of the full XMM application in order to lose your settings. Have you tried doing the incremental update using the "Help" "Check for Updates" function. That process only updates parts of XMM that have changed and not settings.

Thanks,
Norm
