What about an additional category for persons, but for characters. f.e. you look for "Hercule Poirot", "James Bond", "Anakin Skywalker" or what else and you find a profile with movies, where this character appears, don't matter which actor has played it, and if it is availabe on the IMDB a biography and so on of this character.
Such informations could be taken from the imdb. Here is the characters page of "Hercule Poirot" in the imdb:
